With the amendments to the Child and Adolescent Statute (ECA) - Law No. 13,812, of March 18, 2019 - it has become mandatory that children or adolescents under 16 years old cannot travel alone on domestic flights without proper authorization from their parents or guardians. In these cases, specific documentation is required, which varies according to the situation.

Accompanied by a relative up to the 3rd degree (father, mother, siblings over 18 years old, uncles, grandparents, and great-grandparents):

- Document proving the relationship or bond between them;

- Child's document: birth certificate, original or certified copy; those over 12 years old must present an identification document with a photo, such as an ID card or passport.

·Accompanied by an adult without kinship:

- Judicial or extrajudicial Travel Authorization. In the case of extrajudicial, the document must be handwritten by the parent or guardian, with a notarized signature. The authorization can also be generated online through the e-Notariado platform, in the "EAV - Electronic Travel Authorization" section;

- Child's document: birth certificate, original or certified copy; those over 12 years old must present an identification document with a photo, such as an ID card or passport.
