Manaus Airport Cargo highlights the logistical potential of Amazonas for the pharmaceutical industry at an event in São Paulo

• Amazonas Invest Farma will bring together representatives from the sector, investors, and specialists;
• Infrastructure and logistical solutions for the pharmaceutical chain in the Amazon will be highlighted on the agenda.
• Taxation, innovation, bioeconomy, and opportunities for the sector in the ZFM will also be part of the discussions.

Manaus Airport Cargo, managed by the Concessionária dos Aeroportos da Amazônia, which is part of the VINCI Airports network, will participate on September 22 in São Paulo in the first edition of Amazonas Invest Farma. The meeting will bring together representatives from the pharmaceutical industry, investors, government, trade associations, specialists, and bioeconomy entrepreneurs to discuss opportunities for the sector in the Amazon.

One of the highlights of the program will be the panel “Efficiency and Connectivity: Infrastructure and Logistical Solutions for the Pharma Chain in the Amazon,” scheduled for 10 a.m. and conducted by VINCI Airports. The debate will address the logistical infrastructure available in the Amazon and the air connectivity with suppliers and national and international markets.

Participation in the event also brings Manaus Airport Cargo closer to companies in the sector and opens up space to understand the specific needs of this chain, especially in the movement of inputs and products.

In addition to logistics, the Amazonas Invest Farma program will address taxation and incentives, regulatory framework, access to health, bioeconomy, financing, and research, development, and innovation. Topics include opportunities related to herbal medicines, adding value to Amazonian bioactives, and investments in R&D&I in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors.

The purpose of the meeting is to bring together companies, investors, public authorities, entities, and specialists and present the opportunities and attractions of the Manaus Free Trade Zone for the pharmaceutical industry.

The first edition of Amazonas Invest Farma will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the AYA Hub in São Paulo. The meeting is organized by BAS Convergence Hub, AYA Hub, and Systemiq, in partnership with the Government of Amazonas.
