Manaus Airport to have seven new regional flights starting in December

● Operated by Azul Linhas Aéreas, the new regional routes connect Manaus to eight municipalities in Amazonas and Pará 

● In the same month, the terminal will begin operations of direct international flights to Fort Lauderdale and Miami, USA 

● These developments are the result of VINCI Airports' commitment to developing local air transport and expanding route offerings 

Manaus Airport, managed by Concessionária dos Aeroportos da Amazônia, a member of the VINCI Airports network, will have seven new regional flights starting in December this year. Operated by Azul Linhas Aéreas, the flights will connect the capital of Amazonas to the municipalities of Apuí, Manicoré, Borba, Santa Isabel do Rio Negro, Eirunepé, and Tefé in Amazonas, as well as Itaituba and Porto de Trombetas in Pará. 

Tickets are already being sold by the company. Currently, except for Tefé, access to the other municipalities from Manaus is only possible by regional boat or chartered plane. 

The operations of the new flights will begin on December 5th, for Apuí, with two weekly frequencies, and Itaituba and Porto Trombetas, with one frequency per week. On December 6th, flights to Santa Isabel do Rio Negro and Borba will start, once a week, and Manicoré, twice a week. On the same date, the Manaus – Eirunepé – Tefé flight will begin operation, with a weekly frequency.

 The terminal will also start operating two new direct international flights. On December 15th, Azul Linhas Aéreas will start the Manaus - Fort Lauderdale (USA) flight, with three weekly frequencies. On the 17th, GOL Linhas Aéreas will begin operating the Manaus – Miami (USA) flight, twice a week.
