VINCI Airports reunites father and son who share a passion for aviation

● Since the beginning of 2022, father and son have been working at Manaus Airport, a member of the VINCI Airports network 

● Father encouraged his son, early in his career, to work in aviation, and today they share professional experiences 

The Head of Administration and Finance, Augusto Andrade, and his son, Duílio Rangel Lopes de Andrade, Airport Emergency Response Coordinator, not only share a passion for aviation but now also share professional experiences. Since the beginning of this year, they have been working together at Manaus Airport, a member of the VINCI Airports network. 

This partnership story began when Augusto encouraged his son, who was 17 at the time, to take the Infraero exam, in which Duílio was approved and called a few years later. The first time they worked together was at Rio Branco Airport.

 Years later, the two ended up separating. Augusto was transferred to the airports of Cruzeiro do Sul and Boa Vista, while the son went to João Pessoa/PB Airport.

 In 2022, the VINCI Airports network reunited father and son at the same workplace. Regarding this reunion, the Airport Emergency Response Coordinator highlights: “We had this pleasant surprise of working in the same place again now. He is my father, my role model, I have a lot from him. It is a great satisfaction to work with my father. Entering aviation was a matter of opportunity, but I already liked the field because of him.”
