Manaus Airport to Have 50 Extra Flights for the Parintins Festival

• Two aircraft models will operate the route from 06/28 to 07/04
• Manaus Airport organizes a special program to welcome passengers during the festival period 
• Valuing local culture is one of the pillars of VINCI Airports at the airports where it operates.

Manaus Airport, a member of the VINCI Airports network, will have 50 extra flights to the municipality of Parintins (370 km from Manaus) from June 28 to July 4, during one of the largest folk festivals in the world, the Parintins Festival. 

The flights will be operated by two aircraft models: an Embraer 195, with a capacity for over 100 passengers, operated by Azul Linhas Aéreas; and an ATR 72-500, with a capacity for 70 passengers, operated by VoePass. All flights will be provided by the tourism company Amazon Best. 

Due to the festival, since June 20, the airport has had a special program for those visiting the capital, getting into the spirit of "two steps forward, two steps back." In partnership with Amazonastur, the exhibition “Embark on the Magic of Parintins” is underway, featuring exclusive items from the oxen presentations, in the airport's arrivals area. 

In the departure hall, boarding lounge, and cargo terminal, there will be Instagrammable spaces; artistic interventions with typical figures from Amazonian folklore; a 360 platform and a photo booth, among other attractions. The presentation of the Claudio Santoro Arts School Youth Orchestra marks the opening and closing of the program, on June 20 and July 3.
