Record-Breaking Offer of Extra Flights to Parintins at Manaus Airport in 2024

• The airport has prepared thematic decoration and is ready to handle a high demand of tourists and enthusiasts for the Folkloric Festival;
• Airlines will conduct 230 extra operations connecting Manaus to Parintins;
• The airport will feature an interactive space, exhibition, and cultural activities.

JUNE, 2024 – Flights to the municipality of Parintins, operated at Manaus Airport, part of the VINCI Airports network, will surpass the mark of 230 landing and takeoff operations during the Parintins Folkloric Festival period, representing an increase of over 20% compared to the previous year.

This is one of the busiest periods of the year, and the airport is preparing to welcome tourists with thematic decoration inspired by the Parintins Folkloric Festival, considered the largest open-air spectacle in the world, held between June 28 and 30.

This year, the high demand from tourists and admirers of regional culture has resulted in an increased offer of flights to the island of Parintins, where the traditional competition between the Garantido and Caprichoso bulls takes place. In total, approximately 26,000 seats will be available to passengers on the airlines operating the Parintins-Manaus-Parintins route. Flights will be offered by Azul, Gol, Voepass, and Total Linhas Aéreas.

Between June 24 and July 3, those passing through the airport can capture moments in interactive spaces, participate in activations, visit the exhibition “Embark on the Magic of Parintins,” held in partnership with the Amazonas State Tourism Company (Amazonastur), and enjoy a special musical performance by the group Tribos da Toada on June 25 and 27.
