Aviation Influencer Promotes Immersive Experience at Manaus Airport

Registrations are open for the “Papo de Aeroporto Tour”, which will offer the public the experience of discovering the behind-the-scenes of Manaus International Airport. Curiosities about how aircraft are refueled, the work of loading and unloading luggage, as well as all the actions taken to ensure safe landings and takeoffs, will be shared by aviation influencer Rafael Castro.

Known as Dr. Airport, Castro is the creator of the @papodeaeroporto project and has been taking the public to experience the daily life of airport terminals at VINCI Airports units in Brazil. In Manaus, the activity will take place on April 6, with registration available through the Sympla platform.

Lasting five hours, the experience will allow visitors to explore restricted areas of Manaus Airport, including the aircraft apron, the Operational Control Center, the Cargo Terminal, considered the third largest in the country, among other operational sectors.

Graduated in Tourism and a specialist in air transport, Rafael Castro is also a university professor and holds a master's and doctorate focused on airport operations.

The event will take place on April 6, from 10 am to 3 pm. Tickets cost R$ 150.00. Children aged 4 to 10, people with disabilities, students, and low-income youth are entitled to half-price tickets. Minors under 16 must be accompanied by a guardian.
