More Connectivity: Manaus Airport Increases Flights to Rio Branco and Adds New Routes to Boa Vista and Fortaleza

- VINCI Airports' strategy to further connect the region has consolidated Manaus as a strategic hub;

- A highly popular tourist destination among Amazonas residents, Fortaleza will have regular weekly flights;

- In addition to Manaus, the expansion of the air network benefits two other airports managed by VINCI Airports: Rio Branco and Boa Vista.

Starting in April, Manaus Airport enters a new phase of air network expansion, with more flights to Rio Branco (AC) and the opening of regular direct routes to Boa Vista (RR) and Fortaleza (CE). The expansion is part of the strategy of the Concessionaire of the Airports of the Amazon, a member of the VINCI Airports network, to increasingly connect the region and consolidate Manaus as a strategic hub in the country.

The connection between Manaus and Boa Vista, operated by GOL Linhas Aéreas, begins on April 12, with two weekly frequencies, operated by Boeing 737 aircraft. Flights depart at 11:55 PM, with an average duration of 1h20. Between June 21 and July 31, the route will be expanded to three weekly frequencies, including Sundays, Mondays, and Fridays.

The route between Manaus and Rio Branco will have its number of frequencies doubled starting May 4, increasing from three to six weekly frequencies. Departures are scheduled for 10:05 PM, with an estimated flight time of 1h55. 

Another change is the consolidation of the Manaus–Fortaleza route, which will have regular operation with one weekly frequency with Gol. The flight, which had been offered seasonally, will become part of the company's fixed network starting May 16, with departures on Sundays and arrivals on Saturdays.

Under the management of the Concessionaire of the Airports of the Amazon, Manaus Airport recorded growth in passenger flow in 2025. There were 3.4 million travelers throughout the year, an increase of 14% compared to 2024. It was the third consecutive year that Manaus showed an increase in passenger flow since the start of operations by the Concessionaire.
