Manaus Airport expands connections with new flights to Boa Vista and Fortaleza

- Routes announced by GOL reinforce the airport's role as a strategic hub in the North region;

- With the strengthening of the air network, in 2025, Manaus Airport recorded a historic passenger record, with the highest volume of visitors since 2014;

Managed by the Concessionária dos Aeroportos da Amazônia, a member of the VINCI Airports network, Manaus Airport will have its air network expanded, strengthening regional connections with the new flight to Boa Vista (RR), and national connections with the direct and regular flight to Fortaleza (CE). The routes were announced by GOL Linhas Aéreas and will begin operating in April. The announcement reinforces the airport's role as a strategic hub in the North region and reflects the company's commitment to connecting the region.

The news comes after the confirmation of a historic year for the Manaus airport terminal, which ended 2025 with a 14% growth in passenger volume. The airport handled 3.356 million passengers between January and December, achieving the best result since the 2014 World Cup. 

For 2026, Manaus Airport is working to connect even more passengers, contributing to business and tourism development, with a focus on efficiency, operational safety, and providing the best travel experiences for passengers. GOL's announcements are part of the concessionaire's efforts with the public authorities and the commercial aviation sector to diversify these connections.

The connection between Manaus and Boa Vista (BVB) will begin on April 12, with frequencies on Fridays and Sundays (outbound) and returns on Mondays and Saturdays. Meanwhile, the Manaus–Fortaleza (FOR) route, which had been operated seasonally during the high season, will become part of the company's regular network starting May 16, with weekly round-trip flights on weekends.

In addition to the new routes from Manaus, GOL also announced a reinforcement of operations in Boa Vista, whose airport is also managed by the Concessionária dos Aeroportos da Amazônia. The offer of flights between the capital of Roraima and Brasília (BSB), the company's hub, will be increased by 42%, going from four to seven weekly round-trip frequencies, with peaks of up to 13 weekly flights starting in April. 

For Manaus Airport, the new scenario expands connection possibilities. Passengers coming from Fortaleza will be able to access, from the Amazonian capital, destinations such as Rio Branco (AC), as well as cities in the Southeast and Midwest. Those arriving from Boa Vista will have facilitated connections to Rio de Janeiro (Galeão), São Paulo (Guarulhos), and Brasília.

The CEO of the Concessionária dos Aeroportos da Amazônia, Kleyton Mendes, highlights: “These frequencies align with VINCI Airports' purpose, which is to connect to transform. We are administrators of this infrastructure, and our commitment is to develop it to shorten distances, promoting the economic and tourist development of the places where we are.”
