● The quiz will allow passengers to test their knowledge about the environment

● The initiatives highlight VINCI Airports' commitment to environmental issues

From September 19 to 23, an exhibition of digital artworks (NFTs) on climate, created by women from around the world, and a kiosk where passengers can test their environmental knowledge with a quiz, will be available for passengers at Manaus Airport, managed by the Concessionária dos Aeroportos da Amazônia, a member of the VINCI Airports network. The activities are part of the VINCI Airports Environment Day program, celebrated at all airports in the network on September 22.

The digital exhibition screens will be displayed in the terminals of Manaus, Tefé, Tabatinga, Boa Vista, Porto Velho, Rio Branco, and Cruzeiro do Sul, as well as in airports managed by the network worldwide. The initiative is the result of a partnership with Code Green, a non-profit organization, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Group (UNSDG).

Installed in a kiosk in the terminal's check-in area, the quiz features questions on topics such as recycling, pollution, selective collection, and alternative energy sources. Passengers will also learn about VINCI Airports' environmental plan, its actions, and the promise of carbon-neutral airports by 2030 in Europe and 2050 worldwide.

Karen Strougo, CEO of the Concessionária dos Aeroportos da Amazônia, emphasizes: “Art moves our emotions, and we want passengers at our airports to be impacted by the need to preserve the environment. This is a priority theme in our network, and we have ambitious goals to achieve. Therefore, we have started a series of initiatives and new actions will be implemented soon.”
